There’s nothing better then really hooking into a true giant bass. There’s also nothing worse to lose that bass right at the boat as you’re trying to land her.
That’s what happened to me yesterday morning on the Chowan River in Edenton, NC. I decided to spend my fathers day on the water exploring new waters. Within 15 minutes I got my first bite of the day. And then disaster struck. Words can’t describe that feeling when you lose what would have been your personal best fish.
