Time to Pony Up

I knew after ending the 2015 tournament season I’d likely try to step up my game for 2016. I knew I’d want to try and take my fishing career to the next level. I wanted to fish a bigger tournament trail, with bigger payouts and against tough competition.

I was deciding between fishing the Piedmont Division in the FLW BFL as a co-angler, Greenville Marine’s Tournament Trail and the Bojangles Pro-am Tournament Trail.

After much internal deliberation I’ve decided to go gung-ho with the Bojangles Pro-am Bass Tournament Trail. This trail fishes a lot of areas I love to fish including the Roanoke River and Lake Gaston. A lot of local hot sticks fish this trail so it’ll be a tough test. It’s also a bigger risk with $150 in entry fee’s per tournament. Gotta pay to play…

My 2016 tournament schedule will be dedicated to the Bojangles Pro-am, the Pitt County Bassmasters and the BASS Nation tournaments. Check out my full 2016 schedule here.
