The Final Push for the Potomac

With one tournament left in the BFL Piedmont Division’s 2019 season, the Super Tournament on Smith Mountain Lake September 7-8 will determine if I make it to the Regional Championship on the Potomac River.

Going into this season making the Regional Championship was my ultimate goal. I considered it a great honor when I made it 2 years ago. And now going into the final tournament of the season and sitting in 31st place in the point standings, my goal is within reaching distance.

I’m unsure of how well I’ll need to do in the tournament, but for sure with a solid finish I’ll maintain my position in the top 45 and earn the right to fish for a shot at the BFL All-American next year.

Smith Mountain Lake has been a tough lake for me to figure out over the past 2 seasons so it’s a must for me to get dialed into the fishery and put in as much time on the water as possible. With that being said I am prepared to devote a ton of time to the lake over the next several weeks.

My season has been a roller coaster ride but overall I am where I need to be to accomplish this years goals. Stay tuned into my YouTube and Facebook channels to see what goes down on Smith Mountain Lake in a few weeks!
